European Seafood Exhibition 2003 in Brussels.

Samherji hf. took part in the European Seafood Exhibition 2003 in Brussels last week.

Samherji hf. exhibited in good cooperation on the Hussmann & Hahn GmbH stand, like previous Shows.  For an international company like Samherji hf., with customers from all over the world, an exhibition like this one gives  an ideal opportunity to strengthen the relationship with the customers as well as gain new contacts.  The exhibition also gives the visitors opportunity to follow the progress in the industry, which is very important.

There was some concern about participation before the show, first and foremost caused by the lung disease SARS(HABL).  Participants were fewer than previous shows, but in spite of that a large part of the Seafood sector in Europe was gathered together as well as many representatives from other continents.  There is a great interest for the exhibition in Iceland, that shows the full Jet holding about 180 people, participants and guests, that was hired to fly directly from Iceland to Brussels and back.  Everyone agreed that the exhibition was successful in every aspect.
