Full house at an Arctic Charr Seminar in USA

A very successful visit to The Culinary Institute of America.

Samherji´s Chef Einar Geirsson and Sales Manager (and assistant Chef!) Birgir Össurarson  just returned from the U.S.A. where they promoted Arctic Charr.
They visited The Culinary Institute of America, which is one of the world’s most respected Culinary Schools, where Birgir gave a lecture about Arctic Charr and Charr farming. Chef Einar followed by cooking “live” six different courses from only one fillet. All the 150 Chefs and students were then able to taste for them selves and not exaggerating loved it!

"We are very proud of our production and have high hopes that these Chefs will utilize these superb recipes back home in their own restaurants and give more people a chance to taste our great fish Arctic Charr", said Birgir when he returned back home.
Following the visit there will be a competition at the School for the best recipe and three Chefs with the best resipes will be chosen to cook at the Boston Seafood Show this coming March. One of them will then be invited to come to Iceland next summer.
