Negotiations to buy shares in Boyd Line

Samherji´s daughter company Onward Fishing Company Ltd. in Scotland and the Dutch company Parlevliet Van der Plas B.V. have decided to take up discussions with Kaldbakur to purchase all shares in the fishing company Boyd Line Management Services Ltd., which is registered in Hull, England. The ownership of Boyd Line will after the purchase, be divided equally between Parlevliet Van der Plas and Onward Fishing Co.
Boyd Line Management Services Ltd is a Fishing Company in Great Britain owned by Brim since November 2002. Boyd Line owns one Freezer Trawler Arctic Warrior and has fishing rights for Ground fish mostly along Norway and Svalbard and also fishing rights in Greenland waters. The company has just over 4.000 tons of Cod quota. Onward Fishing Company is a Fishing Company based in Aberdeen Scotland, owned by Samherji from the year 1996. OFC owns operates one trawler Norma Mary (former Akureyrin) and has catch allocations in Scottish waters, Norwegian, by Svalbardi and Nordic sea.
