Onward buys a ship
Onward Fishing Company has bought the trawler Fridborg. The ship is specially strengthened for sailing in ice and equipped for shrimp fishing.  

 

Haraldur Grétarsson Managing Director of Onward Fishing Company says it always a pleasure acquiring a new ship. "It was always our intention to replace the old ship Norma Mary, which is obsolete, with a younger ship. The owners of OFC are very pleased to have found the ship Fridborg, since it fits very well to the Company´s Fishing and capacity allowances", says Haraldur. The ship has not yet been given a new name but it will be delivered in the end of March.
