Welcome to The Great Fish Day!
Samherji welcomes the guests of the Great Fish Day to Dalvik tomorrow Saturday August 11th. The great Fish Day gives everybody a chance to come together, have fun and enjoy seafood, everything of no charge to the guests.
The Great Fish day is an annual festival in Dalvík, a community of 2100 people, 45 km. north of Akureyri. Samherji is the largest employer in Dalvik and we are proud to take part in this
special event as a main sponsor, where Fish producers and other members of the society, invite gests to a sea food buffet between 11:00 and 17:00 at the harbor in Dalvík. Fishing, fish
processing and other industries related to the sea are an important factor of the community, among other kind of industry and service. The great hospitality of the people of Dalvik enables everyone
to enjoy the various seafood products, produced by highest standards. Last but not least we hope to encourage the young people in Iceland to eat more fish.
